Janice Jean McMillan

Janice Jean (Owen) McMillan passed peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 78, surrounded by her family in Redlands, California. She was a beautiful and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Janice dedicated her life to God, and spent it as a loving wife to Sidney McMillan, mom to Kathleen Walker, Teresa Owen, and Michael McMillan, and sister to Elita Johnston and LaDonna Hurtado. She was blessed with five grandchildren who she loved with all her heart, a large number of extended family, and friends who she treasured dearly. She also had the blessing of a church family at Tierrasanta Seventh-Day Adventist Church, who faithfully supported and loved her. Her shining character is reflected in the amount of family and friends who are now left missing her greatly.

Janice is survived by her children, Kathleen, Teresa, and Michael; her sisters, Elita and LaDonna; her five grandchildren Edward, Christopher, Ezekiel, CarlyAnn, and Zoe; and a large extended family who will continue to honor her memory.

A funeral service for Janice will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary's Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A reception will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at the Cypress Chapel's Reception Room, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354.
