José Refugio Nuñez Herrera es sobrevivido por su querida esposa, Susana, y sus dos hijos William y Eric Nuñez. Durante sus 30 años de casados, José y Susana crearon una familia hermosa, y siempre hicieron lo mejor para sus hijos sin importar la circunstancia. Los dos hijos de José son un recuerdo constante de él, cada uno igual de tenaz pero también igual de buen corazón como su padre. José también es sobrevivido por su nieta, Alyssa Sofía, la niña cual fue razón por muchas de sus sonrisas y felicidades. Él fue muy agradecido de poder tener una nieta y la quería mucho.

José también tuvo una familia muy grande, unida, afectuosa y protectora… especialmente cuando se trataba de sus hermanas y hermanos. José perdió a su madre de pequeño, y sus hermanas, Magda, María "Cata", Angelina, y Guille fueron su respaldo, criando y cuidando uno del otro. Los hermanos Pedro, Luciano, Jorge, Luis y José también dependían uno del otro. El enlace entre hermanas y hermanos fue muy importante para José, ya que siempre fueron todos apegados y se querían mucho.

José siempre fue muy trabajador con la intención de proveer una vida mejor para su familia, hasta el último momento que pudo. Él fue un hombre muy orgulloso y fuerte. También era muy amistoso, su sonrisa era contagiosa y todos que lo conocían se volvían su amigo. Él podía hablar de cualquier cosa y disfrutar de cualquier momento... él era siempre tranquilo y sabía bien que la vida es una sola y que es necesario apreciar las bendiciones tan pequeñas que sean.

José siempre será recordado, y aunque lo extrañaremos, lo seguiremos queriendo y esperaremos hasta poder ser reunidos de nuevo cuando Diosito lo permita. Su vida sigue en las vidas y en los corazones de su familia, y somos alegres porque él nos cuida desde el cielo arriba. Que descanse en paz José, y que disfrute de la felicidad eterna.

Jose Refugio Nuñez Herrera is survived by his loving wife, Susana, and his two sons William and Eric Nunez. During their 30-year marriage, Jose and Susana created a beautiful family, and always did the best for their children no matter the circumstances. Jose's two son's are a constant reminder of him, both every bit as stubborn but as pure and whole hearted as their father. Jose is also survived by his granddaughter, Alyssa Sofía, whom was reason for many of his smiles and laughs. He was thankful to have been able to have a granddaughter and loved her very much.

José also had a big family, they were united, loving, and supportive… especially when it came to his brothers and sisters. Jose lost his mother at a young age, and his sisters Magda, Maria “Cata”, Angelina, and Guille were his rock, raising and looking out for each other. The brothers Pedro, Luciano, Jorge, Luis, and Jose also depended on each other. The bond between brothers and sisters was very important for Jose because they were always close and loved each other very much.

Jose was always hard working with the intent of providing a better a life for his family, until the very last moment he could. He was a proud and strong man. He was also very friendly, his smile contagious and everyone he met became his friend. He could talk about anything, and enjoy any moment… he was a carefree soul, and he knew well that there is only one life and we need to appreciate all our blessings, be they small or big.

Jose will be remembered always, and though we will miss him, we will continue to love him while we wait to be reunited with him again when God allows us. His life carries on in the lives and hearts of his family, and we are happy because he is watching over us from above. Rest in peace, Jose, and enjoy eternal happiness.
