Joseph Edward Wall was born on August 19, 1936, in San Bernardino, and was raised in Redlands. Over the years he lived in Alta Loma, later moving to Grants Pass, Oregon. Joe spent his final years in Apple Valley, California.
Joe was a kind, hardworking man who deeply loved his family. He was a skilled machinist and owned his own special machine design shop, where he took great pride in his work. He had many passions, including flying his planes, restoring tractors, and spending time in his machine shop. He was also a member of a Corvette club. Joe and his wife, Evelyn, shared a love of travel and created many wonderful memories together on world cruises.
Joe was the proud father of four sons—Jay, Jere, Jeff, and John—and a loving grandfather to four grandchildren. When he married Evelyn, he welcomed four additional adult children into his family.
Those who knew Joe often remember the simple advice he shared with others: “Be kind to others as you would want them to be kind to you.” It was a belief he carried throughout his life and reflected the way he treated everyone around him.
Joe will be remembered for his warm heart, strong work ethic, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
