and Mr. Santiago Ramirez. She is a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She left behind her
lovely daughters Karina, Ashley, Samantha, and Alondrah on February 11, 2024, in Loma Linda.
Kathy was a woman who did it all. She was generous, loving, and the light of many people's
lives.
Kathy attended Paramount Elementary School and Slauson Middle School, then graduated from
Gladstone High School. Kathy enjoyed being at Gladstone High School with her cousins. One of
her most cherished life experiences is welcoming her first daughter, Karina. Despite working
long hours, being a single parent, and attending high school, Kathy continued to have a
contagious personality and was the life of the party. One year later, Kathy welcomed her second
daughter, Ashley, into the world and continued to attend high school. Four years later, after
giving birth to Ashley, Kathy welcomed her third daughter, Samantha, and one year later, her
last daughter, Alondrah. No matter the challenges, Kathy never gave up and always kept hope
for the sake of her family.
She enjoyed working in health care as a certified nursing assistant and later enrolled in Bryman
College to become a pharmacy technician. Kathy's last employment with Union Pacific was
enjoyable, pleasant, and fulfilling; she loved the work environment. She performed duties as a
dispatcher and transportation driver coordinator.
February 2023, Kathy’s battle with breast cancer began. Despite the illness, Kathy was nothing
but smiles and laughter. Sadly, after one year of battling breast cancer, Heaven gained an angel
on February 11th, 2024. She is a unique soul who did everything with love and passion,
dedicated her life to family and friends, and will be missed and loved by everyone with whom
she shared her light, especially her four beautiful daughters, who will carry on her legacy.
