Ken was born in Colton, California on November 20, 1938. He was welcomed into the world by his parents, Martha and Henry along with his brothers Wayne and Darrel. Seven years later, Ken welcomed his baby sister, Linda.
Ken graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino in June of 1956 and in September of 1956, his beloved future bride, Mary Nell Metz, got his attention and thus began a love affair that has lasted 63 years.
Along the way they had three lovely children, Cindy, Cheryl and Zachary.
Ken began his legacy in the title insurance business with Security Title being his first stop along the career path that started in April of 1956. His career path took him up and down west coast as due to his many skills and terrific personality, he enjoyed promotions and new opportunities along the way.
There has never been a better man. Smart, loving and steadfast are just a few words to describe Ken and his positive impact on family and friends.
His soul is now with Jesus and his family and friends who have preceded him to Heaven.
When you see birds in flight, think of our dear Ken as he always looked to birds flying and could imagine soaring along with them.
Ken passed due to natural causes on September 22, 2021 on the first day of Autumn. Mary Nell would like to thank the many friends who were of so much help and support during the months leading to Ken’s passing.
