Leah Pelaez, 64 years old of Loma Linda, California, passed away on February 24, 2012 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She was born on March 5, 1947 to Nolasco and Consuelo Akut in the Philippine Islands. She is survived by her daughters, Garnet Pelaez and Katherine Macalaguing and sons, Tito & Emerald Pelaez. Her grandchildren, Amanda Skye Macalaguing. Trisha & Andre Pelaez. She was a teacher for over 20 years, and a member of the New Jersey SDA Church in Redlands, California.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, 3-8 p.m. at Montecito Valley View Chapel. Funeral Service, 9 a.m. at New Jersey SDA Church 11180 New Jersey St., Redlands, CA. Burial service will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California.
