Linda Ufema Campbell-Richards-Doby was born on March 4,1925 in St. Catherine, Jamaica. She was borm n to the parents of Mr. Campbell and Mabel Fairweather. She was the second child of four children: Rosaly French, Olive Bryan, and Africa-Sims

Linda Campbell-Richards-Doby was married to Zephania Richards, with whom she reared nine(9) children: Fredrick French (deceased),Sonia Carlin, Eugenia R. Beasley-Edmondson, Madge D.Barnes, Bobby Richardson(deceased) , Franklin George Richards, Victoria Richards(deceased) Daddyman Richards(deceased), and another son (deceased). In the 1970's Linda married Matthew Doby. Linda's descendants include twenty-three(23) grandchildren, twenty-six(26) great -grandchildren, two(2) great-great-grandchildren.

Linda moved from St. Catherine,Jamaica to London, England in 1963. While in London ,she worked in many positions. She was an orderly at Middle Sussex Hospital, a cahier in the cafeteria at Scotland Yard, and a crossing guard in Battersea, England, at the same time raising a family.She moved from Battersea, England to Los Angeles, California by way of Maryland in 1972. In Los Ageles, she worked through many employment agencies as a personal care nure and babysitter. One of her clients was actress Goldie Hawn.

Linda Doby raised her children to be Christain-minded and how to love the Lord. She also extended kindness and generosity to everyone she encountered. And, she was a pillar of strenght and determination.

Linda Doby walked through Heaven's gate on July 6,2012. Her exemplary legacy spirtuality, self-sacrifice, and strength will live on in the lives of her family and friends.
