Loretta Rodriguez

Our mother was born on November 14, 1937 to Joe Rodriguez and Mary Villalpanda Rodriguez. She was one of eighteen children, born and lived in San Bernardino, California. Graduate of San Bernardino High School, she married her high school sweetheart Robert Paul Martinez. She became a military wife. Together they had five children: Stephen, Tom, Teri, Bill and Barbara. As a single parent our mother decided to return to college to get her degree. She graduated from California State University of San Bernardino with her B.A. in Child Development. She taught over 20 years and also worked as the Director of Child Care for Casa Ramona and Director of the SHU child care program in Colton. She was dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. Our mother was blessed with ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two more great great grandchildren on the way. She will remain in our hearts always and left us with wonderful memories we will share with our children. We love you Mom.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, California at 1:00 pm in our Whispering Pines Cremation Garden.
