Louis W. Blackmon

Louis joined the United Stated Marine Corps in September 1965 and served in the Vietnam War and completed his service in September 1971. Louis attended Mt Sac and graduated with an AA in 1977. He worked for the California Department of Corrections for 30 years, where he retired in 2003.

Louis had many loves. He loved his Queen, his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He loved to go fishing, watch the Raiders and Price is Right, Gardening, and sitting at his favorite $1 slot machine at Gold Strike Casino in Jean, Nevada.

Louis Blackmon departed this life on November 17, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother Gracita H Blackmon and his brother Lodrick J Blackmon. Survivors include his wife of 31 years Sharon Blackmon, Fontana, CA; father Louis Blackmon, LA, CA; Siblings-Esther Malik, LA, CA; Rhonda McAllister, LA, CA; Patricia Robinson, LA, CA; Children-Louis W Blackmon Jr, Colorado Springs, CO; Emada Castillo, Corona, CA; Chad Blackmon, Yelm, WA; LaTasha Williams, Fontana, CA; Jason Williams, Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Gracita Blackmon, Fontana, CA; Samantha Yates, Atlanta, GA; Brandon Battle, Fontana, CA. Grandchildren-Erika, Christopher, Corina, Clarissa, Brianna, Jasmine, Chad Jr., Christopher, Amaya, Jordan, Alura, Jason Jr., and Tyanna and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives, extended family and friends.
