Maralyn Anne Morgan

Maralyn Anne Morgan, age 94, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Redlands, California. She was born on February 20, 1931, to Harlan and Edna Kahler in Loma Linda, California. She was the second of four children, having an older and younger sister and a younger brother.

Maralyn is survived by her 3 children, Ron Morgan, Cheryl Hoff and Rick Morgan, as well as her younger sister, Miriam Schroeder. She was blessed to have had 7 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren and was loved by all of them. Her strong Christian faith and family values served as a foundation for her life and have been passed down to her following generations.

Maralyn was preceded in death by her husband Arthur James Morgan, her parents, older sister and younger brother. She graduated from nursing school in 1952 and worked as an R.N. for 10 years before helping her husband start his dental practice in 1960.

While Maralyn and her husband lived and raised their 3 children in southern California, she spent her youth living in the pacific northwest, until moving to San Diego where she attended nursing school. She and her husband were married in San Diego in 1952 but spent 2 years back in the state of Washington until Arthur started dental school in 1956 at Loma Linda University.

After her husband graduated from dental school Maralyn and her family lived in Orange County for a year before moving back to Loma Linda so her husband could get a graduate degree in Orthodontics. They then built their dream home in Grand Terrace, California where they lived for 33 years before moving to Redlands where she spent the final 26 years of her life. Maralyn will be remembered with an abundance of love and cherished memories by her family.

Maralyn was laid to rest at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California where her husband, parents and younger brother are interred.
