

Martha was one of four children born to Refugio & Lena Reyes Garcia on October 3, 1931, in San Jacinto, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Refugio, her sister Betty Garcia, and great grandson Ruben Palacios-Villa. Martha is survived by her sons Louie Palacios, Robert (Diane) Palacios, her daughters Emily Villa, Mary Linda McMullen, and Mary Lena Palacios, 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 15 great, great grandchildren, her sister Rita Tomson, A host of many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special blue eyed fur baby Rambo.
In her early years, Martha worked as a yard duty teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School. Many remember her as a firm believer in discipline and respect for others. Martha retired from Teledyne Battery after 26 years as a quality control specialist. After retiring she became a school crossing guard for 15 years.
Martha was a member of The Femenil nonprofit organization for many years and held several positions within the organization. She loved her family, music, traveling, cooking for potlucks, and getting together with family and friends as often as possible. We will miss her stories, laughter, firm feisty personality, her presence, and her love. We were blessed and fortunate to call Martha mom and grandma. Until we meet again forever in our hearts.
Visitation and prayer for Martha will be Thursday March 6, 2025, from 11am to 1:00pm in the Cypress Chapel at Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. Committal Service will be held from 1pm to 1:30pm.
