Cousin Dianne you will be missed as your genuine qualities are undeniable.  You always had a warmth and beautiful spirit about yourself that was contagious and always made people smile and feel loved.  I remember when I turned 30 and I visited California, I walked into a surprise birthday party upon my arrival at your house, that really took my breath away and I was just overjoyed and also in complete shock. It was a blessing stay at your home for a week and get familiar with everyone, especially Buddy, Hamp, and Shelly because I had no recollection of them before that visit.  Sheila I knew slightly from when you lived in St. Louis.  I remember you took me to the commissary where you worked and we got some good wine and had a total blast  Then we drove to Vegas to meet all the family there.  I didn’t know it was that many of us until then.  Thank you for exposing me to family.  I believe the last time I saw you was at my wedding  and it was a delight to see your face.  You are one of a kind and you will always be in our hearts as you were loved by many. Blessings to the family and may God give everyone strength day by day.

Diane was a very good friend of mine. We attended grade and high school together. We also grew up in the same neighborhood. We have shared so many precious memories over the  50 plus years. Every time she came to St. Louis  she would get together with her childhood girlfriends. We would have such a wonderful time. We loved each other so much. I will really miss my dear fried. Diane, We both said this would be the year that we traveled and would live in Arizona, after we finished traveling. I guess you couldn’t wait. You made that move before me. Now, you know I am going to miss all those late nite calls, laughing and crying over things we can’t change. You left me to go to a beautiful place. To the family of Mary Conners. Mary was a beautiful, caring person whom I had the pleasure of sharing  our beautiful grandchildren with.

Because of them we would get together on occasion for birthdays, holidays, graduations, family reunions, vacation bible school and even family loss.

Mary was a giving person and had a great since of humor, we could laugh and enjoy things together. Mary will be missed from our presence but not from our hearts.

Mary you will be truly missed, I remember when we went on the cruise with your sister my sons and my siblings and my mother , we had a good time together you were the cousin everyone loved and always wanted to be around, You were always my best cousin love you forever and your family have my deepest sympathy . One of my favorite memories with Auntie D is from the time I visited her, and she introduced me to deviled eggs for the very first time. I remember how excited she was to share them with me, and as soon as I took my first bite, I was hooked. From that day forward, I’ve been absolutely obsessed with deviled eggs, and I’ll always think of her whenever I make or enjoy them. 
I miss you so much Auntie and I love you!

I spoke with my sister Diane, our matriotic 6 days before her transition. She stated she did the things in life she wanted. This was her final stage on earth that we all must go through.

Diane was considering getting new furniture. I talked her into buying blue color living room furniture like she had on Clarence. That color was back in style. 
She bought the living & dining room furniture, which is simply beautiful. 
And, I bought the blue bed. 

Diane was my big sister and friend. 
She was a mentor, a guide, leading with wisdom, love, and a caring spirit for others, for me, for my 2 best friends, Priscilla and JoAnne. 

We will carry her life lessons, that knowledge she dropped, and dvice in our hearts forever. 

Reflecting in (stlmo) on Clarence  (Me, Jo, & P) getting Revlon relaxers and crimps. Sheila's crimps always came out the best. 
She had longest hair. Diane continued using the same Revlon relaxer in Cali.  

We listened to the advice Diane gave us while getting our hair styled. 
She had a wealth of knowledge, and it was well received and carried us to this day. 

Diane had that caring spirit like our Mom. She allowed  family to live with her. 
My grandson was born in California. 
Diane named him Christopher.

Diane taught me how to cook. I mastered her banana pudding and macaroni & cheese. 
Her cooking changed a bit in Cali. I got the Lou version. Lol 

Diane and I would listen to Smokey Robinson music and Bop to it.  My 2nd favorite artist. She would sing Inseparable her favorite Natalie Cole song. 
I had it sung at my wedding reception. 
Also, my favorite.

Her favorite color is turquoise. Now, it's one of my favorite colors. 
My kitchen & 3rd bedroom are turquoise. 

She loved chitterlings(Yikes) and wine!

We talked a lot about our brother Garland, what it was like growing up with him. 

He loved Stevie Wonder, Living For City was his favorite song. 
He's our Conners family patriarch.

Dear Sister, there are so many things I need to thank you for so I’ll start with this. Thank you for being you. I have known forever that you are hands-down, the most caring ,lovable ,strong  and humble person I have ever known I remember from being a small child how you would come around me to make sure that I felt like I was a part of my family although I wasn’t really around much you always  made sure I felt comfortable. I love you for keeping our family as close as possible. You were our ROCK and will truly be missed dearly. I am beyond blessed to have had you as my sister and best friend Never forget that I’ll love you forever you’ve been more than a sister you’re my friend and confidante I feel so blessed to have been in a position to visit you before you were called home All the hugs ,kisses and all night conversations will be with me forever and ever.

Married to Diane's sister Fran, she always made me feel welcome. 
Diane had a very pleasant spirit. 
As her brother-in-law, she welcomed me with open arms and along her children.
I became part of the family. 
I enjoyed her company whenever I was around. 
And, I'll never forget while in California David, and I ran a Boston on her and Sandra aka Songie. Lol😊 
Diane is gone but not forgotten. 
In my eyes, she did a great job raising her children (they all are very pleasant like her).
I will miss her. I hope to see her again.

In memories of Diane, Diane was like a big sister to me in my adult life she schooled me and directed me in the right path with good advice. I appreciate all the good talks and advice that we had at her home in the Stl.  thank you  Diane, love Priscilla 🙏❤️.
