Mateo Huizar, 68 years old of Apple Valley, California passed away on May 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on September 21, 1945 in Jalisco, Mexico to Concepcion and Victoria Huizar. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Miriam Victoria Huizar and is survived by his loving wife, Estela and his children, Gabriel Huizar, Norma Villalobos, Roy Huizar and Rosie Nordsiek. His beloved 11 grandchildren, brother, Rafael Huizar, sister, Guadalupe Huizar, niece, Marisela Cedillo, niece, Jenny Cedillo and nephew Cesar Cedillo.
Mateo worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014, 4-8 p.m. and Chapel Service on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10 a.m,, both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Colton, California.
Mateo will be greatly missed by his family and all his friends.
