

At the age of 16, his family moved to Southern California in conjunction with his father’s job, initially settling in Sherman Oaks, CA. He attended Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange, New Jersey, continuing his high school education at Van Nuys High in California. He also attended Los Angeles Valley College.
On the train to California, he met his lovely wife of 72 years, Audrey Introcaso, whose family was also being relocated by the same company. After dating for several years, Bob and Audrey married in 1952. Shortly thereafter, he served in the National Guard for two years. They were blessed with 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Bob was always the life of any gathering, his favorite holiday being Christmas. He dressed up as Santa for many years to entertain his grandchildren and also on his treks to other relatives’ homes for the holiday. He loved spending time with family, enjoying holiday gatherings at their home, get togethers at their Big Bear condo, golf, and boating trips to Lake Millerton.
Robert is survived by his lovely wife Audrey, daughters Colleen (Michael) Todorovitch and Kathleen Donnellan, and was preceded in death by his son, Michael Oberdick.
A graveside service for Robert will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
