

Robert (Bob) A. Trimble went home to the Lord on September 17,2013 at his home in Grand Terrace and was surrounded by family and friends. Bob was born in Visalia, CA, to Roy and Pearl Trimble on March 4, 1929. He lived most of his life in the Inland Empire. He graduated from Colton High School and attended San Bernardino Valley College. He served in the U.S. Army and the California National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post 155 in Colton, CA. He married Betty Maupin in 1961. He was an employee of the Colton Fire Department for most of his career and retired in 1982 as a Division Chief in the Fire Prevention Bureau. After retirement Bob started RT Investigations and this was a part-time business for him until he retired that business in 2000.
Bob is survived by his wife Betty Trimble of Grand Terrace and his brother Bill Trimble of Colton and nieces and nephews that he loved.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 24, at 10 AM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA. There will be a viewing on Monday, September 23, from 5 to 7 PM at the Montecito Cypress Chapel at 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda.
