SANDRA LEE SUHAY passed away suddenly on September 20, 2010. A beloved Mother, Wife and Sister she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A lifelong resident of Redlands and 1963 graduate of RHS she was well liked by many members of the community. Born February 6, 1945 to Amelia and Lloyd Derrickson she was the youngest of five children and sister to Howard, Beverly, Betty and Arlene. In 1965 she married John Serra and has one child Tonya Diane. Following her twelve-year marriage to John she subsequently married Richard Suhay in 1981. An employee of Bank of America for many years, she was a down-to-earth person who almost never failed to speak her mind. A private individual, Sandra was an altruistic animal lover and most often sought solace in the company of her dearly loved cats and dogs. Family and friends will immensely miss her unflinching, rebellious and independent nature.
