

Suhardi had a successful career as a mechanic and entrepreneur. He worked as a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic and in various ventures, including a car shop in Jakarta. In the U.S., he operated a car shop and later owned and operated Suhardi Trucking.
He had a passion for cooking sweet and savory Java cuisine, biking, swimming, ping pong, soccer, and tennis, earning numerous trophies. He was on the verge of becoming a pilot, showcasing his adventurous spirit.
Deeply committed to his faith, Suhardi served as a deacon, participated in work bees, and assisted with the treasurer duties at his church. He always saw the best in people and brought light to every room he entered.
He married Meity Tambingon on September 6, 1983, in Jakarta, Indonesia. They raised two children, Angel (married to Richard Zecha) and Arthur (married to Sarah Mulyono), and were blessed with five grandchildren: Autumn, Asher, Annalise, Ezekiel, and Marjorie. Fourteen years ago, Suhardi suffered a stroke and never fully recovered. His wife, Meity, and his mother-in-law, Mintje Wawo, provided dedicated care throughout his illness.
Suhardi was a beloved son of the late Sumiati and Mulyono Muljono. He had six siblings: Herlianti, Tatang, Netty, Herliyana, and the late Jumali and Muljadi.
Suhardi passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, in Loma Linda, CA. His legacy lives on through his loving family and the many lives he touched. Beloved by friends, family, and his community, Suhardi will be remembered lovingly as a Father, Husband, Brother, and Friend to all.
Funeral Service
We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Suhardi Mulyono on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The funeral service will be held at Upland Indonesian SDA Church from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by a burial service at Montecito Memorial Park at 11:30 AM. A reception will take place afterward at Azure Hills SDA Church. Your presence and support will be greatly appreciated as we honor and remember Suhardi’s remarkable life.
