

Teodoro U. Garcia was born on December 27, 1931. People knew him as Ted or Lolong. He lived a long life filled with dedication, hard work, and love for his family. Throughout his life, Lolong was known as a man of strength, humility and perseverance.
For 26 years, he worked as a mechanic, a profession that reflected his hardworking nature and skillful hands. He took pride in his work and was respected by those who knew him for his reliability and commitment. He retired at age 70 and enjoyed gardening, and babysitting his grandchildren.
More than anything, Lolong cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to Zenaida Garcia for 71 years, a loving father to his six living children: Eddie, Elvie, Rick, Cel, Ode and Jeng. He was also a proud grandfather to his 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who loved spending time with the younger generations of his family.
Lolong was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings. Though they are gone, their memories remain part of the story of his life.
Those who knew Lolong will remember his quiet strength, his dedication to his family, and the values he passed on to the people he loved. His life leaves a lasting legacy through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Today, we gather to celebrate his life, honor his memory, and give thanks for the many years he shared with his family, relatives and friends.
