

On September 13, 1950, Willie L. Greene was born in Buffalo, New York to Merritt Sr. and Emogene Greene. At an early age, he accepted Christ in his life. In 1962 his family relocated to Los Angeles, California. In California, he attended Thomas A. Edison Jr. High School, John C. Fremont, Los Angeles Southwest College, and Mt. San Antonio College.
On August 8, 1970, he married the late Frances Anderson-Greene. On September 15, 1970, Willie was inducted into The United States Army Infantry. He was stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey, St Louis, Missouri and overseas in Germany, where he received The National Defense Service Medal, Expert Infantry Badge, Sharpshooter M-16 and The Good Conduct Medal, during his tour of duty.
Willie's work history expands as follows; Mattel's Toy Company, store clerk for Brownie's Liquor, Letter Carrier and Shop Steward for The United States Postal Service (36years), retiring in 2005.
He is preceded in death by his son DaRon Greene, Parents; Merritt Sr and Emogene Greene; brothers; Gerald Greene, Merritt Greene Jr and sisters; Gilda Greene, Arnetia Greene-Gober.
He leaves to mourn his daughters; Tammy Greene (Frances Greene) and Heaven Greene (A'nniece Ingram) both of San Bernardino, California; son Robert Webster of Rialto, California, two granddaughters; Tra'shonda Pendarvis and Frances Webster, both of San Bernardino, California, two sisters; Bernice Smith of Porland, Tennessee and Diane Greene of Moreno Valley, California, two brothers; Larry Greene of Yorba Linda, California and Kenneth Greene of Cypress, California; on aunt, Oneita Jones of Buffalo, New York; one uncle, Ulysses Jones of Buffalo, New York; two sisters-in-law, Toni Greene of Cypress, California and Joyce Greene of Yorba Linda, California; one brother-in-law, Carl Smith of Portland, Tennessee and a host of relatives and friends.
