

Woodrow Taylor was born April 22, 1936 to the late Louis and Naomi Taylor in Byhalia, Mississippi. On September 2, 2025 in Redlands, California he peacefully was called home to be with the Lord.
Woodrow accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church where he attended Sunday School. He continued to serve the Lord at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, California where he served as an usher and attended regular services.
A dedicated and skilled owner operator/truck driver he served in his trade until retirement as well as the United States Air Force.
Woodrow was preceded in death by his wife Arvine Taylor, son Eric Alexander Taylor, three step-daughters Hilda Simon, Patricia Strickland, Toni Jackson, six brothers Owen, Simon, Jessie, Jerry, Larry, and Ronnie Taylor, along with four sisters Edna Myers, Elmer Johnson, Laura Norman, and Melveline Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters Lorri (Thomas) Keyes, Sonya (Danny) Hebert and two step-sons Sidney Strickland, and Terry (Kim Strickland; three grandsons Jeffey Keyes, Kelley Carr, and Eric Taylor, Jr., four granddaughters Latosha Keyes, Ashley Carr, Jessica Hebert and Amber Flores. Along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and three brothers Willis (Ida) Taylor, David (Linda) Taylor and Johnnie (Faye) Taylor.
His kind spirit, strength, and loving heart will always be honored and remembered.
