

Her career in nursing included election to the Board of directors of the National League of Nursing as well as service as a registered nurse in seven states.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence V. Pellettier and parents William and Agnes (Bunker) Haan and brothers Donald, Philip and Aloysius.
Graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, College of St. Mary, Omaha and of Rutgers University, where she received a graduate degree in Advanced Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. She held Clinical Specialist certification.
Former member of faculty at Mt. Marty College, Old Dominion University and Hampton University, where she held the rank of professor.
Director of Nursing service and In-service Education of the Mental Health Center in Norfolk, VA. Also served as a Clinical Specialist for the Veterans Administration.
Former Program and Nursing Service Director of Tidewater Psychiatric Institute in Virginia Beach, VA.
A member of the Benedictine Order for 21 years.
Survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte VanBuskirk of Sherman, TX, and Mrs. Carol Knievel of Redmond, WA; and seven brothers, Anthony and Charles of Watertown, SD; William of Claypool, IN, Dominic of Carrington, ND; Vincent of Hacienda Heights, CA; and Arnold of Kranzburg, SD.
Interment will occur at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, January 29th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
