On March 2, 2023, John Stephen Scarlis, passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Husband of the late Anne Theresa Scarlis, loving father of Sean Scarlis and wife Lori, and Dawn Murphy and husband Stephen. Brother of the late Shirley Trotta. Cherished grandfather of Kyle Scarlis.
Family will receive friends at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc. 5555 Twin Knolls Rd., Columbia, MD 21045 on Monday, March 13th from 5 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Rd., Columbia, MD 21044 on Tuesday at 10;00 a.m, March 14, 2023. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
