For those not aware, my father passed away earlier this morning peacefully at my parent's house. He left feeling love from my mother, my sister, myself, and all of his siblings that have shown him great support these past few weeks. He was diagnosed with stage 3 small-cell lung cancer, which they basically said was not curable, but manageable until a certain point. It eventually spread to the brain, which lead to a sudden decline in his health. My father will always be my hero and inspiration about finding the good things in life. Even while going through his chemo and radiation treatments, the last few months he still found time to work as if nothing was wrong, trying to make sure that bills were taken care of for my mother and the rest of us. He always put people in front of him, and that is how I will live my life. He will always be with me as my inspiration, and I hope to end up being as good a man as he was.
Thanks to everyone for their support in these times.
