

Paula Hayes Preziotti, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on September 7, 1950, Paula lived a vibrant and accomplished life marked by her infectious smile and love for dancing.
Paula was a proud graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned her degree in 1973. Her multifaceted career included time as a medical lab technician at the VA, at Dupont in the sales and servicing of blood analyzers, and as a registered investment advisor, though she held the title of dedicated stay-at-home mom as one of her most cherished roles. While taking care of her children she also earned a MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
Known to all as the life of the party, Paula brought joy and energy to every room. She was an avid traveler, visiting all 50 states and 7 countries alongside her devoted husband, Gerard. A passionate wine connoisseur, she also enjoyed her regular walks, always embracing life to the fullest.
Paula is survived by her loving husband, Gerard Preziotti; her two sons, Paul Dominick Preziotti (41) and Patrick John Preziotti (38) and his wife Sarah Lowe; her two cherished grandchildren, Isla (5) and Luca (11 months); and her sister Pamela Green, and brothers Richard Dewey Hayes III, and Robert Michael Hayes. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to share in her warmth and light.
A celebration of Paula’s life will be held on May 2 at a time and location TBD.
