I was so sad to see that Bob had passed.  He was a wonderful coworker who will be sorely missed.

I hope you find some comfort in knowing all the fond memories everyone has of Robert. I love seeing these updates because I too often think of him and what he’d think of the world as it is now.

Hard to believe it's been a year since Bob's passing. I find myself often recalling the many pleasant times we shared together, especially during our early years at Eximbank.  His sense of humor and the way he poked fun at folks and odd situations kept me laughing.  During our lunches with Jim Hefferon and John Wisniewski we'd opine on so many issues and come up with solutions 
(no matter how crazy) to any number of problems. But his allegiance to the Ford Motor company was unshakeable; I never was able to convince him to become a "Chevy" man.  I miss you, Bob.

When I transferred to RPI from the USAFA in 1969 it was a tremendous change to my life.   Bob was one of 4 people who made this period of my life survivable.   I will never forget his generosity or friendship.

Bob was a giving, special friend who made some tough times at RPI reasonable in our years together.  Loved the guy!

A "gentle giant" he was, and one of the kindest, most positive people I know. Robert was the first person I met when moving to Swan Point. He attended my settlement representing the seller. I miss seeing Robert on his way out and back home, as he was always a positive and bright light in our neighborhood. We shared many holidays over the years, and grandson Antonio adored playing games with Robert on his phone. He looked up to Robert. We always knew Robert was there if we needed something. Now there is a large void in our neighborhood. We all are blessed to have had him for a friend. What a great role model! His legacy will live on forever! 

The  most amazing ,kind and smarter men I ever knew, I will miss you very much Robert.

I first met Bob in January 1975.  He and I then shared over 20 years working as members of the Engineering Division (subsequently, the Engineering & Environment Division) of the Export-Import Bank in Washington DC.  Bob had joined the Bank earlier in 1974, and when I arrived, he cheerfully reached out and helped guide me in the ways of that agency.  Our friendship grew stronger during those wonderful years.  We exchanged car repair tips, helped each other on moving days and shared dreams of the future. We lunched almost every day with our boss, John Wisniewski, at Stoney’s where we’d discuss everything from Bank policies to the technical aspects of foreign projects, no matter which industrial sector. I remember the great time my six-year-old son and I had during our visit to Bob’s family farm in Pennsylvania where I met his dad, who was Bob’s hero.  Science fiction always intrigued Bob; he marveled about the movie Star Wars for weeks after he first saw it. With the exception of Ford Mustangs, nothing seemed to excite him as much as new technology. I remember listening as he explained the wonders of the burgeoning internet, the new “Windows” software and how they’d revolutionize the workplace. How right he was! But above all, Bob was kind, compassionate and always willing to reach out and extend a helping hand.  His presence, energy and humor enriched many of our lives, and he will be sorely missed. 

I have known Bob for many years having worked with him at Ex-Im Bank .  Bob was a brilliant engineer,  ahead of his times in technology in so many ways and a good friend that will be missed.

I worked with Bob at the Eximbank.  A funny kindhearted man. He will be missed.

Bob was a gentleman, kind man, a car guy, and a friend.   Thank you for towing my 1948 F1 from Ridgely, MD to Arville, PA.  It was a fun day and the last time I saw you.  

Thanks for fun times and kindness.   

May you dwell in paradise and God bless your family and love ones.

There’s a myriad of memories- from playing in a sand pile in the back of the house, to shoveling horse manure and riding horses up at the farm,  to busting knuckles on a 1964.5 Mustang- (if we didn’t get the car back together we were spending the night in the barn.) I was very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Bob at the Export Import Bank for a number of years. I was in a division at the bank that worked on aircraft transactions and we interacted with the engineering division on a number of these transactions. I remember Bob's contagious laugh and if I recall correctly he would be frequently adjusting his glasses. A very smart and a very nice man to work with.
