Roberta Ann Akillian

Roberta A. Akillian age 92, of Columbia MD, formerly of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Born in Medford MA to the late Mesrope and Agnus Eknoian. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Akillian. A devoted mother to Beth Johnson and her husband William, William Akillian and wife Gayle and Carol Akillian-Casey and her husband Paul. Loving grandmother to six grandchildren, an aunt, and a friend.

Roberta was known for her beautiful gardens and artistic talent. She was a member of the garden club, a pianist, an avid cook, an amazing baker, and ever the conversationalist. She loved crafting flower arrangements and decorative wreaths, which she continued throughout her life, leaving us all with a little of that creative spark. She was a signal of strength, grasping the happiness of life, sharing in its fullness, sowing kindness and candor.

A memorial service will be held on August 23 at the Armenian Church of the Holy Translators, 38 Franklin St., Framingham, MA.
