Grew up with him, so sad to see genuinely broke my heart.

When I got the call from Pop Pop my heart sank. I could hear and feel  his pain. There is nothing that I can say to ease that. What I can do is offer words of comfort. Know that your sweet Ryder is not in pain. He is resting until you all meet again. Hold on to the precious memories.  When you think of him visualize that beautiful smile. My prayer is that over time you all will have peace and a better understanding.  

My deepest condolences and prayers to Ryder’s family. From our brief medical visit, he was a very sweet and endearing individual. 

Ryder's celebration of life today was a testimony of his living.  He touched so many lives during his time with us. As his pediatrician I along with my colleagues learned patience, kindness and compassion.  We all fondly remember him as the kid that everybody knew at some point in his 16 years .  We thank Pop-Pop for entrusting us to care for him. To Ryder's extended family,  in moments of sadness think of his beautiful smile and know that one day if we believe we will reunited face to face.  May God continue to uplift and sustain you.


I’ve known Ryder since kindergarten, we had a love/hate relationship for sure. I would always tell him “get away from me with that crusty nose!” but i would do anything to see his snotty face again. Even though I wasnt always the nicest to him, he always gave me a smile and tried to interact with me and make me smile on bad days. Ryder, you and your warm spirit will be missed. hopefully one day in another lifetime we’ll meet again and I can be a little nicer…fly free🤍

Ryder was a really good friend of mine, I remember all the good memories we've had together. From playing soccer together on the Atholton Turf to hanging out at the Hickory Ridge Village center. I'm going to miss him dearly.

It was a pleasure and honor to know Ryder. I knew him and took care of him since infancy and my whole heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be missed.

I have had the pleasure of teaching Ryder this year. It’s brought me a lot of joy to see him bloom in class. He was such a happy young man who made many peers smile.

As a fellow Howard County high school student parent, I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort knowing that he is with our Savior Jesus Christ.
