Vincent Cullen

Born in Washington D.C., Vince was a graduate of Annunciation Catholic School, St. Anthony High School, and the University of Maryland. Vince pursued advanced studies in studio arts at George Washington University. Vince’s career in the retail industry included management training at Bloomingdale’s in New York City, and in Washington DC, customer service and management for gourmet food pioneer Sutton Place Gourmet, and legacy stationers and engravers Copenhaver and Brewood. Vince was a person of deep integrity, compassion, sensitivity, and creativity. His humility and generosity were recognized by all who encountered him.

Vince enjoyed traveling to Germany, France and Italy, as well as the Hudson Valley in New York and the western mountains and Outer Banks of North Carolina in this country. An opera enthusiast and accomplished baker, Vince’s curiosity and interests were varied. As a teenager, he participated in the National Gallery of Art copyist program.

In retirement Vince lived in Ellicott City, MD. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and three brothers. Vince is survived by two sisters, three brothers, wonderful brother-and-sisters-in-law, a multitude of nieces and nephews and their families, numerous cousins and their families, and many loyal friends and admirers.

A committal service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, located at 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD, 20906, United States. The service is scheduled for January 5, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
