
William Allen Vinson, 78, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on April 28, 2026. Born in Mississippi, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was marked by hard work and determination.
He had a passion for Baltimore sports, especially the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles, and he shared that love with his family. Many cherished memories were made watching games together and celebrating those moments.
He is survived by his spouse, Yvonne Vinson; his children, Angela Law and husband, Bo Law; Brittney Carr and husband, Ryan Carr; Brandy Benoit and husband Brian Benoit, and Shelley Vinson; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Shawn, Michael, Tyler, Serenity, Evelyn, Zackery, and Annabelle; his great-grandchildren, Lyric and Lily; and his siblings, Joey Mace and Jimmy Mace.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Madene Mace; his stepmother, Shirley Vinson; Sister Virginia Vinson; his father, Burton David Vinson; his stepfather, Jack Mace; his son, Robert Huff; and his grandson Harrison Carr.
He dedicated more than 30 years of his life working as a truck driver for J. Gibson McIlvain. Through his years on the road, he experienced countless miles and moments, taking in places and stories that became part of his journey. He found a sense of purpose in his work and pride in the life he built through it. Over the years, he went on many adventures over the road, always moving forward with determination and resilience. Now, we take comfort in knowing he is on his next great adventure in heaven.
