Baisel Lee Oringderff

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will be in Olivet Christian Church Cemetery.

Baisel was born on January 25, 1939 in Polk County, MO the son of Tom Baisel and Bessie (Cramer) Oringderff, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married in Harrisonville, MO over 57 years ago to Louise Atkinson, who survives at the home.

He graduated from Harrisonville High School and was inducted into the US Army in 1957. After his tour, which included stops in Germany, he returned home where he worked at Cass County Supply with his father and sister. He later worked for Broad Building Supply and finished up his career as a millwork manager for Boone County Lumber. In his younger days, he and Louise took many trips on the Goldwing, and Baisel enjoyed mushroom hunting.

He is survived by: his wife, Louise; 3 children: Debbie Lutz (Tom) of Jefferson City, Gary Oringderff (Trease) of HIgbee, and Eddie Oringderff (Mary Willingham) of Columbia; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Tom Oringderff, Jr. (Connie) of Florida; and one sister, Nina Lee (Bob) of Harrisonville. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Kay Oringderff; and one sister, Louella Atkinson.
