Charles "Chuck" Matthew Kennedy

Chuck Kennedy, 50, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Milan, MO, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his home. The family will have visitation on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO. Chuck will be taken to Milan, MO for a memorial service at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home. Steve Jordan will officiate. Immediately following, Chuck will be laid to rest beside his father and brother, at Elmwood Cemetery, north of Milan. Chuck was born June 6, 1964, the son of Dee Kennedy Bauer and Ed Kennedy. He is the brother of Lori Kennedy Brockman, Tom Kennedy (deceased 2004), Joe Kennedy and Krista Kennedy Albrecht (Jon). He is the father of two daughters, Bridgette of Kansas City and Ella Jo of the home and two granddaughters, Onar and Kennedy of Milan. He also left behind his sweetheart, Kim Kriegel. Chuck served with the US Navy in Desert Storm and for this we thank him. He was an amazing son, brother, and father. Chuck loved anything that involved nature, especially hunting and fishing with Ella Jo, whom he lovingly called “Scooter”. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Ella Jo Kennedy Trust at Landmark Bank, 109 E Nifong Blvd, Columbia, MO 65203. “It is healthy and honorable to weep at the loss of someone we love.
