Darren S. Tharp

Darren was born on July 15, 1967 in Columbia, the son of Charles Tharp and Rosemary (Baker) Dews. He graduated from North Callaway High School. He coached his son’s baseball teams and the Hickman Bowling Team. He worked as a cook at several area restaurants; most notably, The Bull Pen. He was an avid bowler, loved fishing and a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was caring, generous to a fault and willing to help anyone in need.

Darren is survived by his son: Joshua Tharp (Jennifer Garmon), his mother: Rosemary Dews; his brothers: Scott Tharp; Doug Tharp (Mary); nephews: Alex; Dylan; Jesse; a niece: Hannah and a host of aunts; uncles; cousins and friends.

Darren was preceded in death by his father; Charles Tharp; his grandparents: Speed and Dollie Baker; an aunt; Violet Polson and a cousin: Loretta Wise.
