Dena Renee Moore

Dena Renee Moore, 63, of Gardner, KS passed away peacefully on the evening of September 9, 2024. She had liver failure due to an AutoImmune disease. She is survived by her two sons Chris(Beth)Moore and Jonathan Moore; her three grandchildren

Alejandro(Abriana), Angelo and Abriana, four great grandchildren, her brothers Tim(Darla), Steve(Arlinda) and sister Sheryl(Tony) and many nieces and nephews. Dena is preceded in death by her parents John and Marilyn Moore.

Dena was born on July 29, 1961 in Kansas City, Kanas. She graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in 1979. She lived the majority of her life in the Argentine area of Kansas City, KS. She worked as a dietitian assistant at a nursing home but she spent a large part of her life as the care-giver to her father and mother.

Dena was a sun seeker who loved spending the summers with her grandchildren at the pool. She loved aimlessly cruising around with her mom and dogs with the windows down sipping on a cold fountain drink. She had a passion for watching Food Network and collecting recipes of all sorts. She was a self-proclaimed food critique and loved sharing her reviews with others. Her smile and laughter will be remembered most by her family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday September 29, 2024 at Hollis Renewal Center 11414 Kansas Ave. Kansas City, KS 66111. The service will begin at noon followed by a luncheon. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Dena’s life.
