Mrs. Eva Mooberry

Services will be Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation 10-11 AM followed by Funeral Services at 11 AM. Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Eva was born on October 9, 1933 in McHenry, Illinois the daughter of Augostino Unti and Pia (Nutini) Unti, who have preceded her in death. She was raised in a strong Italian Catholic family. In December of 1959 she was united in marriage to Thomas W. Mooberry who preceded her in death. Eva earned her teaching certificate and she taught school in Illinois. Alongside her husband she operated the Carriage House Restaurant in St. Joseph, Missouri for several years. Their children grew up working in this restaurant. It was during these years that she cared for and tended to her large vegetable garden, again with the help of her children. In the next chapter of her life, Eva became a real estate agent and took pride in helping others realize their dream of becoming home owners.

Eva is survived by her sons: Thomas A Mooberry of Grandview, Missouri; Mark W. Mooberry and wife Naomi of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren: Jacob Mooberry; Joni Redmond; Brian Mooberry; one sister: Mary Unti; one brother: Augostino Unti, Jr both of McHenry, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one son: Kelly Mooberry.
