
Glenn was born May 16, 1928 in Kansas City, MO; the only child of Homer and Albertina Ramsey Glasgow. He was a 1945 graduate of North West High School in Kansas City, MO. He served his country as a Marine during WWII, and nearly again in the Korean War. He attend the University of Missouri in Columbia and the University of Missouri KC where he earned his Ph.D. and Juris Doctorate. He served many years as the VP and General Council for Silvey Insurance Company in Columbia. He was a licensed pilot, mechanically inclined and enjoyed tinkering on cars. He was also a talented musician, and played the saxophone with a group of Missouri State Legislators. He raised horses and considered himself a “gentleman farmer.”
He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Ronnie) Bennett of North Chesterfield, VA and Karen (Brad) Follett of Lenexa, KS; four grandchildren, Nichole & Donovan Bennett and Travis & Tracy Follett; and a great-granddaughter, Layla Follett. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Maxine Glasgow; son, Kevin Bruce Glasgow; and a granddaughter, Erin Bennett.
