Helen Delores Canole, age 100, passed away on February 28, 2024. Born September 27, 1923 in Columbia, Missouri to Mary Elizabeth (Norman) and John Leslie Brown, Helen was a proud graduate of Hickman High School. She went on to marry Robert H. Canole, who preceded her in death in 1996.
Helen was a country girl at heart and loved driving her tractor, walking in the woods and working in her garden. She was always willing to help anyone who needed help.
Survivors include several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Visitation will begin at 1PM, followed by the funeral service at 2PM. Final resting place will be Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Missouri Humane Society, DAV or the American Legion.
