I just learned about Kathy's passing yesterday and was heartbroken. 
I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for many years through Boone Hospital. She and her team would come to our medical office weekly to hold meetings and was always dressed and looked so beautiful and was such a hardworking, kind person. 
My daughter attended CoMotion Dance, whom her daughter Jacqueline Sutton runs, and she was always such a warm face to be greeted by as you came in. I can see her beautiful smiling face now.
And although she will be greatly missed by her many family members and friends, I am certain she is happy and still smiling along the side of our Lord!

We were all sorry to hear of the loss  of your mother, Kathleen. She was an amazing woman with a beautiful heart. Many times she would tell me how much she enjoyed watching Katie dance. It meant a lot to me. I know dance was close to her heart with two amazing dancers of her own. She was so proud of you both. She will always be with you. Our love to you and your family during this difficult time.

I've known Kathy for many years...first as a patient when she was having her children, then as a co-worker.  Her work ethic was stellar, her sense of humor delightful, and we shared many good times together when working with Dr Jones.  I remember one profound day that we shared......September 11, 2001.  She had just visited the World Trade Center about 1 month earlier with one of her daughters.  As many did that day, we listened and watched, took care of patients as they arrived, and wondered together what that day would mean for the future of our country and our families.  She loved her family with a passion beyond compare and my heart aches for your loss.  Sincerely-Karla McNew

My heart is so heavy as we say goodby to my dear dear friend. We have shared so many good times, and helped each other through a few bad times. In every thing, Kathy was so strong; showing all of us how to really live in both. I will never forget our blended family times, and will treasure those memories forever. I know she prepared her precious family by making sure there were bonds that could never be broken. I grieve for us as I know my dear Kathy is reborn in Christ. I pray for God’s Peace to help all of us, especially her precious family, through this difficult time.

Survivors include: her husband of 37 years, Clifford; three children, Jacqueline Sutton, Melissa Miller (John), and Justin Sutton (Michta), all of Columbia; her mother, Jeanette Bumb of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Theodore Sutton and Ava Kathleen Miller; two sisters, Lauretta Lowery (Dan) of Ballwin, MO, and Susan Sisk (Thomas) of Tampa, FL; one brother, Lawrence Bumb III of St. Louis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Betty Sutton of Columbia; and brother-in-law, Chris Sutton (Racheal) of Columbia.
