Lee was known as a gentle soul with a kind heart, easygoing nature, and warm smile. Friends and acquaintances often shared that he had a special way of lifting spirits and bringing comfort to those around him. Lee enjoyed video games, board games, origami, Legos, anime, and spending time socializing with friends. More than anything, he loved making people smile. He also shared a special bond with his beloved pets. Lee earned his associate degree from Moberly Area Community College.
Lee will be deeply missed by his mother, Eileen Swanson; uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends and loved ones whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Swanson.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on May 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202. A memorial service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
