Marjorie Ellen Coots (Priest) was born on September 15, 1930 in the Osage Bluffs, MO area. Marjorie was the youngest of 11 children born to Edgar Wesley Priest and Alma Alvenia Hager Priest. She graduated from New Bloomfield High School in 1947.
Marjorie married Lealon Dale Phillips in 1948. She had three children, Terry, Cheryl and Barbara. Lealon died in 1955.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Jimmy Lee Coots of New Bloomfield, MO on August 27, 1960. Jim and Margie had one child, Peter Mark Coots.
Marjorie was an active member of the Holts Summit congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and was beloved by all who knew her.
Margie was preceded in death by her first husband Lealon Dale Phillips, her youngest son Peter Mark Coots, her parents and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband Jim Coots; her son Terry and his wife Renee (Cook); daughters Cheryl (husband Gary) Fox and Barbara (husband Terry) Anderson; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and loved ones.
