Mary Ann Hyde

Mary Ann Hyde, born on May 16, 1943, in Benton, Illinois, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, located at 903 Bernadette Drive, Columbia, Missouri, 65203, on December 10, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Inurnment will follow in Columbia Cemetery.

Mary was born May 16, 1943, in Benton, Illinois, to Charles A. and Catherine M. Baclet. In 1961, she graduated from East Richland High School in Olney, IL. She married Jack R. Hyde on February 18, 1971, in St. Charles, MO. They spent the next 47 years together until his death on October 6, 2018. She worked with Miss Hickey's School for Secretaries in St. Louis. She enjoyed reading, was a hardcore Bridge player, enjoyed computers, was an Amazon Enthusiast, and loved fine dining.

She is survived by her children, Tamyra Diers of Treasure Island, FL, Jack R. Hyde, II (Mary Ann) of Laguna Niguel, CA, and Christopher (Angie Fig) Hyde of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren, Kristen, & Katherine Hyde, Allie, Sydnie, & Tanner Diers, Alyssa & Calvin Hyde, and Jack Reagan Baclet Hyde; great-grandchildren, Henry, Milo, Luca, Stella, Theo, JJ, Patrick, Maggie, Jack, Archie, Charlie, & George; siblings, Charles Baclet, Jeanette Schranz, & Rose Baclet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ronald Hyde; a brother, Steve Baclet, and a son, Brent Hyde.

Mary's family would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to her brother, Charles Baclet, whose constant love, generosity, and family trips brought her so much Joy. We are deeply grateful for everything he did for her.
