

Nancy Leigers, 68, of Columbia, MO passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. A graveside service will be 1pm, Thursday, March 19th, in Memorial Park Cemetery 1217 Business Loop 70 West Columbia.
Nancy was born on November 29, 1957, in Jefferson City, MO to Albert and Yvonne Monroe Leigers. In 1975, she graduated from Helias High School in Jefferson City. She graduated from Central Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree and began her career in accounting. She started at Modern Business Systems in Jefferson City and continued with IKON after they took over. She had moved to Columbia and later took a position with Williams-Keepers from where she would retire in 2023. She married her long-time partner, Kent Hudson on October 24, 2017, on the beach in Biloxi, MS. She enjoyed reading and traveling to the beach, spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks.
She is survived by her husband, Kent Hudson; siblings, Sharon (Jerry) Fox of Kyle, TX and John Leigers (Heather O’Connor) of Columbia; nephews, Brian (Kelsey) Fox and Scott (Patty) Leigers; nieces, Melissa (Jake) McCormack and Erin Fox (Kyle Rhodes), many great nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, David (Lesa) Leigers and her parents.
