

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 12 at Fairview United Methodist Church, 3200 Chapel Hill Road.
Norma was born January 11, 1935 in Marshalltown, Iowa.
On August 4, 1958, she was united in marriage to Carroll Eugene Winslow in the McMurry Chapel of the Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia. Carroll and Norma were blessed with 3 sons, Norman Eugene "Sonny" Winslow of Columbia, Lesley Allen "Les" Winslow of Clinton, MO, and Neal Andrew "Andy" Winslow of Columbia.
Norma spent her early life near Branson and Hollister, MO. She attended and graduated from the School of the Ozarks, and then moved to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri. Norma and Carroll first met through the Wesley Foundation at Missouri United Methodist Church. In the summer of 1963, Norma, Carroll and Sonny moved and began creating a new home from the ground up just North of Columbia.
Norma enjoyed word puzzles, cooking, travel around the US visiting state and national parks, as well as travel to many destinations around the world.
Norma’s generous spirit touched many lives through her tireless commitment to volunteer work. She was a familiar and beloved presence in her community, always ready to lend a hand or a kind word. Among her many contributions, just a few include Fairview United Methodist Board Member, UMW, United Methodist Women's Group, she helped establish the Little Bethlehem holiday event at Fairview UMC, Columbia School Board Member, Cub Scouts and Webelos Den Mother, and received the BSA Wood Badge, Habitat for Humanity volunteer, The Wardrobe volunteer, and Meals on Wheels.
Norma and the Winslow family would like to thank and bless all those who helped and volunteered with her, and she spoke fondly of so many of you before her passing.
Norma will be remembered and revered by her family, friends, and many members of her community.
Norma is survived by her sister Sharon Neveux of Goffstown, NH, her three sons Sonny, Les and Andy, and two grandchildren Allison Winslow and Nicholas Winslow.
