Patrice J. Vale

Patrice Vale, 83 of Columbia Missouri reached the heavenly shores on Tuesday May 21, 2024. Patrice was born in Pecos TX November 8, 1940 to Morris (Maurice) and June (Olsen) Mizzell. She later moved to Kermit Texas and lived with her adoring grandparents: Judge G.C. and Helen Olsen.

Patrice met and married her beloved husband L. Kenneth Vale (Kenny) June 29, 1968. They were married a wonderful 43 years and were the proud parents of daughter Michelle (Vale) Baggett.

Many remember Patrice fondly as the harpist at the Churchill’s restaurant in Columbia in the 80’s but she was so much more, wonderful wife, mother, grandma and friend.

Patrice will be missed by her daughter Michelle Baggett (Adam) of Columbia, MO; grandchildren: Britany Bray (Drew) of Lebanon, TN; Kenny Montgomery (Sarah) Of Oneida, TN; Robert Betts (Kayla Dorpinghaus); Andrew Baggett; Benjamin Baggett all of Columbia; great –grandchildren: Draven, Skyler, Emerson and Henry.

Her dear friends Sharon, Billie, Carla, Ginny, Louise and her spiritual family of St. Luke the Evangelist, will miss her stories, recipes and laughter.

Patrice was preceded in death by her husband Kenny Vale, parents June Scussell and Morris (Maurice) Mizzell, grandparents Judge G.C and Helen Olsen.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Luke the Evangelist Greek Orthodox Church in Columbia, MO or church of your choice, and the Wounded Warriors Project.

A visitation for Patrice will be held Saturday May 25, 2024 from 9 am to 10:30 am at Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11 am at St. Luke the Evangelist Greek Orthodox Church. Patrice will be buried alongside her husband Kenny at the family cemetery in Norborne, MO at a later date.
