

She was born on March 14, 1920 to William Earl and Vera Nichols Davis in Kansas City, KS. Reared in March, MO, she attended Charity High School and married Vernon W. Ramsey on December 24, 1938. They had one daughter, Marilyn Ramsey Garbee.
Mr. Ramsey served 30 years in the Navy and during times he wasn’t stationed on ships, they lived in Springfield, MO, Joplin, MO, Duluth, MN, Buffalo, MO and Columbia, MO. After his retirement in 1966, they continued to live in Columbia for nearly 40 years before moving to Oklahoma in 2004.
Pauline worked with her husband in Columbia in his consulting management business. She was a member of ABWA, serving as president of her chapter, member of Opti-Mrs of the Sunrise Optimist Club and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, crocheting and collecting dolls and dishes.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Joe W. Davis. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Bud Garbee, Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren: Michael Garbee and wife, Cleo, Bixby, OK; Cindy Garbee, Broken Arrow; three great granddaughters: Mikela Garbee, Broken Arrow, OK; Miranda Hughes and husband, Carson, Broken Arrow, OK; Madison Garbee, Bixby, OK; great great granddaughter, Bella Rose, Broken Arrow, OK; and sister, Shirley Reeder, Columbia and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, October 4th at Greenlawn East Funeral Home in Springfield, MO. Visitation 1-2 p.m. and memorial service at 2 p.m.
