Phyllis was born in Mexico, MO on November 14, 1938; she was the seventh of eight children to Orville and Florence McNatt. After graduating high school, she moved to Columbia until her marriage to Paul in November 1959. They lived in Kansas City for about a year before relocating to Paul’s home state of Alabama. They were active in their church and community. Phyllis loved planting flowers and canning food from her garden. They loved to travel; visiting Europe in their younger years and the US as they got older. After Paul’s passing, Phyllis relocated to Missouri to be with family. She enjoyed going to the Lyceum Theater and exercise classes and the Senior Center.
She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Whitney of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Florence Mueller, Jane Rosentangle, Weston McNatt, Barney McNatt, and Fred McNatt.
