

Stephen Francis Santoyo was born July 3, 1963 to Charles and Marcella (Sally) Santoyo. He passed away September 12, 2025 at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Columbia MO. with family by his side.
Steve was the youngest of eight siblings and enjoyed the attention, care and love he received from his older siblings.
Steve graduated from New Haven High School in 1981
followed by his graduation in 2002 from Columbia College in Columbia, MO
Steve proudly served 4 years in the United States Navy.
Steve held a variety of positions throughout his lifetime but was most fulfilled by his occupation as an Intervention Specialist. He was very instrumental in changing the lives of many people for the better most notably through his involvement with drug court. Steve had many close friends that he met during his years of championing mental health. Steve also served on the Board of Directors at Phoenix House in Columbia, MO
Steve's faith was foremost in his life. He was looking forward to sitting at the heavenly table with his Lord and Saviour.
Steve is survived by the following siblings and their spouses:
Barbara, Karla, Jerry (Eva), Don (Deb), Mary (Larry), Diane (Bill) and Dave (Sherrie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children. And many friends.
We are saddened by his shortened earthly presence but rejoice in his eternal life in Heaven.
A private burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
