

He was born October 18, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois.
On January 30, 1988, he married Kelly Taylor in Moberly, Missouri and she survives.
Wes loved computers and technology. He worked for the City of Columbia as a Systems Analyst for 14 years. He was a dedicated Cub Master and Den Leader of Cub Scout Pack 7 who cared deeply for each and every boy who joined his pack. Wes also enjoyed the great outdoors by hunting, gardening and raising chickens. He was an excellent problem solver who loved to help others. His talents included (but not limited to) home repairs, outdoor work, restoring a classic Mustang and numerous Case lawn tractors, and, of course, anything with computers and technology.
He will be lovingly remembered and always missed his wife, Kelly Myers, of Columbia; children: Steven, Jennifer and Nicholas Myers, all of Columbia; siblings: Forrest Bollow (wife, Kelli) of Shelbina, Missouri and Mary Lee Myler (husband, Paul) of Peculiar, Missouri; granddaughter: Kyleigh Myers; parents: David and Anita Myers; as well as seven nephews and one niece.
Wes was preceded in death by his uncle, Mike Mefford, and his grandparents.
There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home, with A Celebration of Wes’ Life at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Lentner, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Myers’ Children’s Education Fund, c/o Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, Missouri 65202.
