William D Castle

William was born in Shackleford, MO on March 7, 1935, the son of William J Castle and Winifred (Jacoby) Castle. He was united in marriage to Nancy Anne Castle.

Bill was a builder, developer, farmer, rancher, landowner and family man. He joined the Army and served in Korea.

He is survived by the mother of his children: Nancy Anne; his sons: Matthew Todd Castle (Katherine); John D. Castle (Tina); Luke Pelteir Castle; Michael Castle (Cheryl); Timothy Joseph Castle; Nathan Castle (Diane); his sister: Sara Morris; his grandchildren: Cole; Austin; Marisa; Piper; John Wayne; Cash; Coralee; Mark Alex; Maclyn; Max; Zachary; Tanner; Kendall; and eight great grandchildren: Quinley, Addisyn, Casen, Cohen, Ayden, Ava, David and Emma Grace, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Mark William Castle; his brothers: Glenn Castle; Leo Castle; William Castle, Jr. his sisters: Patricia Campbell; Jean Burnside; Sister Eleanor Castle, RSM and a granddaughter: Jessica Anne “Annie” Castle.

Services will be Monday, December 2, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home with visitation: 4-5 PM followed by a Funeral service at 5 PM. An additional visitation will take place at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 10:30-11:30 AM with graveside services to follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity close to Bill’s heart: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
