Alice B Kemp

Funeral services were held Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 11am in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia for Mrs. Alice B. Kemp age 89 of Columbia who passed away on Sunday May 13, 2012 at her residence. Interment will be in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder James Broom and Elder Richard Magee will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday 9:30am untill service time at the funeral home. A native of Marion Co. Ms. she was a homemaker and a member of Enon Baptist Church. She is preceded in death be her husband Charles Dewitt Kemp, parents Charlie Oscar & Eliza Elnora Turnage Bullock, 4 sisters Lilly Bounds, May Herrington, Gussie Martin, Ruby Head, 2 brothers J,T, & Lee Bullock. She is survived by a daughter Mary Faye Lovelady of Gulfport, Ms., 3 sons Glen Kemp(Debby) of McComb, Ms., Johnnie Ray Kemp(Cathy) of Monticello, Ms. and Oscar Kemp(Brenda) of Columbia, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grand and many other friends and family.
