

David Robert Mangham, 55, passed away on January 8, 2026. David was born on March 8, 1970, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to parents Arnold Mangham and Elizabeth Eadie Mangham. He grew up in Baton Rouge and graduated from Broadmoor High School. He worked for many years as a Reception Center Director and enjoyed helping people, especially his family, plan their life’s big events from weddings to proms to milestone birthdays and anniversaries. David was a clever businessman who successfully ran several of his own businesses throughout his career. David was an outdoor enthusiast and was happiest in the woods. He loved hunting, camping, hiking, scuba diving, fishing, and being in nature. His love of nature was contagious, and he instilled that love into his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Mangham; a daughter and son-in-law Ashlyn and Trent Holmes; a son and daughter-in-law Payton Mangham and Madison Switzer; a step-son and daughter-in-law Blanton and Hannah Burgess; a sister and brother-in-law Susan and Vince Tullos; a brother and sister-in-law Doug and Mary Mangham; four grandchildren Louis and Eliot Holmes and Stella and Charlie Burgess; and many nieces and nephews whom he all deeply loved. He was preceded in death by his father Arnold Mangham and sister Elizabeth (Beth) Renee Mangham. David was a beloved son, dad, pops, brother, and uncle, and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He was a Christian who believed that death was not the end but a transition to life with Christ.
